Before configuring recruitment roles, make sure you have:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Company Admin or Recruitment Admin access
\u2022 employees already added to Synclo
\u2022 a clear list of recruitment duties
\u2022 the departments each user belongs to
\u2022 approval responsibilities agreed with your hiring team<\/p>\n
Decide which users will work as Department Heads, Recruiters, Hiring Managers, or Interviewers. Since one employee can hold more than one recruitment role, review their duties before assigning access.<\/p>\n
Recruitment roles control who can take part in hiring activities. For example, recruiters can manage applications, while interviewers can review candidates and provide feedback.<\/p>\n
Clear role assignments also reduce delays because each user knows which tasks they must complete. In addition, inactive users can be removed from recruitment work without deleting their employee records.<\/p>\n
1. Sign in to Synclo<\/strong> 2. Open Recruitment Setup<\/strong> 3. Open Recruitment Users<\/strong> 4. Review the recruitment user summary<\/strong> \u2022 Total Users These figures help you confirm how recruitment access is distributed across the company.<\/p>\n 5. Review existing recruitment users<\/strong> Before adding a new user, search the list to confirm that the employee has not already been assigned a role.<\/p>\n 6. Filter users by role if needed<\/strong> This filter is useful when you need to check how many recruiters, hiring managers, or interviewers are active.<\/p>\n 7. Click Add User<\/strong> The Add Recruitment User<\/strong> window will open.<\/p>\n 8. Select an employee<\/strong> Only employees who already exist in Synclo can be added as recruitment users.<\/p>\n 9. Choose one or more recruitment roles<\/strong> Available roles include:<\/p>\n \u2022 Department Head You can select more than one role when the employee performs several recruitment tasks.<\/p>\n 10. Review the role responsibilities<\/strong> For example, assign Interviewer<\/strong> to users who take part in screenings or interviews. Use Hiring Manager<\/strong> for users who review candidates and support hiring decisions.<\/p>\n 11. Set the user status<\/strong> Keep the status active for current hiring team members. However, turn it off when a user should remain in the system but no longer needs recruitment access.<\/p>\n 12. Add the recruitment user<\/strong> The user will appear in the Recruitment Users table after the record is saved.<\/p>\n 13. Edit an existing recruitment user<\/strong> Update the required information and save the changes.<\/p>\n 14. Verify the updated role totals<\/strong> The totals should reflect the current number of recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers.<\/p>\n After configuring recruitment roles, you can:<\/p>\n \u2022 assign interviewers during candidate screenings These roles can now be used across job posts, candidate reviews, interviews, and offer workflows.<\/p>\n
Log in to Synclo with an account that can manage recruitment settings.<\/p>\n
From the left sidebar, open HireHub<\/strong>. Next, select Recruitment Setup<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
The Recruitment Configuration page will open. Select the Recruitment Users<\/strong> tab if it is not already active.<\/p>\n
At the top of the page, review the totals for:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Recruiters
\u2022 Hiring Managers
\u2022 Interviewers<\/p>\n
The Recruitment Users table shows each employee’s name, department, designation, recruitment role, and status.<\/p>\n
Use the All Roles<\/strong> dropdown to view users with a specific recruitment role.<\/p>\n
Select Add User<\/strong> in the top right corner of the Recruitment Users section.<\/p>\n
Use the Select Employee<\/strong> search field to find the employee by name or department.<\/p>\n
Select the role or roles that match the employee’s duties.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Hiring Manager
\u2022 Interviewer<\/p>\n
Before saving, confirm that each selected role matches the employee’s work.<\/p>\n
Use the Status<\/strong> toggle to make the user’s recruitment access active or inactive.<\/p>\n
Review the employee, selected roles, and status. Then click Add User<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
To change a user’s role or status, locate the employee in the table and click Edit<\/strong> under Actions.<\/p>\n
